A B O U T

A commercial gallery that transcends the boundaries of time and genre, moving with the artists through the ages.

Gallery ISHIKAWA was established in 1989 in Ginza, Tokyo. Our foundation is built upon a discerning eye for art—refined over generations of family expertise in the art trade—and a steadfast commitment to the Japanese art scene for over three decades.

In 2023, seeking to broaden our creative horizons and expand our international network, we relocated to Akasaka, Minato-ku. Our collection spans a diverse range of works, from masterpieces by Japanese masters since the Meiji era to the nurturing of next-generation emerging artists. We introduce works through a unique lens that transcends the boundaries of time and genre.

Today, we are actively engaged in the global market, with a particular focus on the Asian region. Through "high-quality works that resonate with and influence society," we continue to propose new values that speak directly to the hearts of people worldwide.
